Practising another portrait with cold skintones this time. (using a photoreference again)
It took 1h 46minutes.

Selfportrait I

A friend painted a self portrait yesterday and motivated me to try it as well.
So... I did. It was not that easy, and I used a lot of smudging and stretching and squeeeezing tools..
It took 1 hour and 16 minutes.

Yeah... Well, here is me:
As usual - click one picture to see all in a row.

Portrait

I tested some new brushes today and did a character portrait speedpainting.
It took 40 mintues.
After finishing I kept working on it for about 15 minutes, so here are two 'final' pictures. ; )

After 40 minutes

 After 55 minutes

Character speedies

Two recent character speedpaintings:

tribal chief - 20 minutes                                                   sad lady - 30 minutes

Matte Painting practice

 A further practice.
At first I did the arrangement of the elements after doing a rough sketch, gave them some textures, and then I overpainted it and added some details. This one took quite long.

This was a 30minutes speedie.

Mini Mangaka MeetUp

I went to a mini meet up today.
We intended to got to a japanese crêpe restaurant to eat and draw. Unfortunately.. we totally forgot drawing while talking °-°
So yeah..

Some food here:
(yeah usually I don't post food- but this time it replaces some not drawn sketches°x°')

And what I drew when heading home by train (approx. 15min each) :
