Sci-Fi practice

 A practice from today.
1hour and 44minutes, no references.

Portrait

I tested some new brushes today and did a character portrait speedpainting.
It took 40 mintues.
After finishing I kept working on it for about 15 minutes, so here are two 'final' pictures. ; )

Matte Painting practice

 A further practice.
At first I did the arrangement of the elements after doing a rough sketch, gave them some textures, and then I overpainted it and added some details. This one took quite long.

This was a 30minutes speedie.

2 new practises

Hi everyone.
Two new things today. Yeah the quality is very different, but these pictures were made under different aspects.

Speedpaintings

I gave speedpaintings a try the last three days.
I joined a speedpainting group last week, picked some topics and painted within the given time.
It is very fun but I must get better in not loosing anatomy when hurrying up painting.

Colour practise and some sketches

I had a bad photoshop day today.
Due to that I will only post two digital paintings from today.
I decided to draw on paper this time, it was much better ^^'
I hope tomorrow Photoshop and me will be friends again. °-°''

These two sketches are going to be coloured soon, I think.

Practising faces again

Good evening~
Two face shading practises from today's evening (about 40minutes each). I try to make my faces look more human and make some more the next days.

Caught the mushroom

Just finished, it took 3.5 hours. 

I don't know if I like it.. ö.ö

Face shading practise

Good morning!.. afternoon? 

I tried to paint a face with two different coloured lights this morning , so here it is.
Not an illustration- just a practise, so I didn't waste time on every detail.
It took 2.5 hours, wthout references- to test myself.
Think the relust is okay. Even when I really wanted to make a beautiful woman... -_- Not that angry looking witches o.O
