A short Sketchbook session

Hello and こんにちは、
I went to the Comic and Mangaka Meet-up this weekend, but didn't draw anything presentable, unfortunately. ^^'

But I got some (new and old) sketches to show. I got a longer way to school, so there accumulated some scribbles.

↑new ↓old
The upper one is from today morning. I love this GuildWars2 Sylvari race Ö_Ö

Angry farmer design

A further work which might become a part of my portfolio. ^^
I had a lot of fun, painting him, because this is my favourite way to colour. =))
I like his nose... (°-°)

Paper Painting

I finally started making some graphics for my portfolio. But I am curious as well, what will finally end up in my portfolio gallery ; )
As usual, I will present everything here.

This is a little boy, painted in a kind of paper art style.

Tablet scribbles

Scribbles scribbles scribbles ... ^-^
I had a look through my Sketchbook gallery on my tablet and thought it would be nice to make a short collage of the drawings I made the last months.

Sorry for the grey background. Usually it's white but after uploading it always gets grey o.O''

Mangaka Meet-up 2014 [April]

Hello everybody.
Time for some scribbles ; )
I went so the monthly Mangaka Meet-up in Berlin, organiszed by the Comic-Culture Verlag (publisher), last saturday and practised to draw in mangastyle. In March I already noticed that I need to practise it again. At school we should stay in more natural drawing style, because the Games branche isn't looking for MangaArtists. ^^
But I like to do both. It can't be wrong to be able in drawing in different styles. ; )

Isometric house

Hello everybody.
I get more and more interested in Mobile Game Art. So I train painting objects in isometric perspective. This is the first one. ^^
There could/should be more detail, but because of school I won't find the time. Perhaps I will add the details later... or better paint another one. xD'
The stones were true pain... <.<  But it was worth it.

Destroyed temple scene

Hello everyone. (^-^)/

It's been a while because of the exams, but today I come up with a new 3D work.
It is the environment exam I had to do. The task was to create a destroyed temple scene. I had 4 days for this task and this is what came out.

These are the highpolys I've modeled first:

Afterwards I built the lowpolys and attached them together to a little scene. We were allowed to use a maximum of 30,000 triangles. I used about 26,000:

Finally I imported everything in UDK to create a bit more atmosphere:

3D statue for a school project - final model ADDITION

Hi,
this is the final statue for the game. It's now finished. ^-^

Splashdamage Art Test WIP

Hi everyone.
Today we made the Splashdamage Environment Art Test (link) at school. After the lessons we finished the highpoly. We will make the lowpoly in our next 3D-environment lesson.

I took some screenshots again to show the steps of development.
Some parts were quite tricky, but the teacher helped to manage it. So, finally I learned a lot today about workflow and floaters.

Here are the steps of the current highpoly:
